Mullet Boat Racing is an underated race series which often sees boats on the water dating from 1913. The annual race for the Lipton Cup is the highlight of the series and is currently held by Tamatea - the baddest boat on the water!

The site was put together to inform outsiders about the series, its heritage, and to get them involved. It also serves as a touch-point for racers to view upcoming events, see photos from previous races, and feel involved with a community of other Mulleties.

The site is partially built with a Tumblr backend to allow racers to log-in and update specific pages themselves. By doing this the community feeling is extended through participation and content which would have otherwise remained on memory sticks can see the light of day.
